Pacific Highway Infrastructure Upgrades
"McFadyen Pipeline Constructions have successfully completed Drainage installation packages and Earthworks on several Pacific Highway Infrastructure Upgrades where I have been Surveillance Officer for Earthworks and Drainage. It is always a pleasure when I arrive onsite and see McFadyen Pipeline Constructions. I know from that moment with their experience in constructing RMS drainage projects and knowledge of RMS specifications the works will run smoothly. Over the past years I have seen many drainage contractors, very few can match the attention to detail in completing RMS quality assurance documentation, the workmanship in all aspects of pipe installation, the proactive attitude, and the safety/quality systems that the McFadyen Team bring to a project."
Mark Drummer - Surveillance Officer, RMS in Northern NSW.
Warrell Creek to Nambucca Heads Pacific Highway project
"I would like to extend my sincere recommendation for Ron and the McFadyen team on any future construction projects and express my desire to work further with them. MPC have been one of our best performing sub-contractors over the 3-year duration of this project. MPC's commitment to safety, quality and productive output has been recognised by myself and my team, the project verifier AECOM and the client RMS."

Nambucca Heads to Urunga Pacific Highway Upgrade
"As your last crew has just demobilised, I'd like to take the opportunity to say it has been a real pleasure working with the McFadyen crews and I look forward to working with you on the next project."
Steve Cruwys - Senior Project Engineer, Nambucca Heads to Urunga Pacific Highway Upgrade, Engineering. 24th March 2016
"I wanted to formally thank McFadyen Group for the drainage works that MFG have been able to complete on NH2U. To the end of July 2015 we had surpassed 5000m of installed works and actively had 3 MFG crews performing works. The safety standard and workmanship showed by MFG crews far surpassed my expectations. I hope that as I leave NH2U that this will continue and completion of drainage will have positive outcomes. Construction is a small industry and I hope that we can find ourselves working on the same project at a future time."
Andrew Levett - Project Engineer, Nambucca Heads to Urunga Pacific Highway Upgrade
Whitehaven Coal – Boggabri to Maules Creek Rail Project (Client: Leighton Contractors)
"I would like to personally thank and commend your team for the work completed on the Whitehaven Coal Project. My self and all the Leighton team were greatly pleased with the commitment to safety and quality by all your employees over the project period.
I would like to recommend McFadyen Pipeline Constructions and Plant Hire for future projects. McFadyen Pipeline Constructions and Plant Hire exceeded all expectations in the completion of the $7,500,000 contract.
With an accelerated construction program Ron and his team were put under considerable pressure. They quite easily resourced the project with up to 8 drainage crews, completing 80 cross drainage culverts of various lengths up to 3m in diameter including concrete structures, a 7.25km HDPE water pipeline and the supply of reliable plant including excavators up to 75 tonne with GPS and rock breakers which were used for excavating batters, open drains and bulk earth works etc.
The McFadyen Group has to be commended as they completed the works ahead of schedule, machinery supplied was very reliable and had no major downtime events. Employees were enthusiastic and experienced with an impeccable safety record which under the accelerated conditions and Leightons stringent safety system was an impressive effort.
I consider McFadyen Pipeline Constructions and Plant Hire to be an asset to any project and look forward to working with Ron and the McFadyen Team in the future".

APLNG Combabula - Australia Pacific LNG Upstream Project Phase 1 (Client: Laing O’Rourke Australia (LOR))
"LOR engaged MFG to install the underground services on a number of sites for the Origin APLNG Project. Combabula was the last site completed and consisted of three trains, with Combabula being the largest of LOR’s APLNG projects.
The scope of works for the underground services undertaken by MFG included the following:
- Installation of three Oily Water Preceptor’s along with the associated pits and pipework capturing and treating Oily water within the Gas Processing Facility (GPF);
- Electrical services to all areas of the site including the installation of electrical pits and conduits ranging from 50mm to 150mm in size;
- Butt Fusion welding, Electro fusion welding and installation of HDPE pipework supplying services including Nitrogen, Plant Air, Instrument Air, Plant Water, Service Water and Raw Water to all areas of the GPF;
- Supply weld records and quality documentation associated with the welding and installation of HDPE pipework.
LOR found MFG to be very professional in provision of all of its services at all times. Their teams worked very efficiently, with a clear focus on safety and a staff up to 40 on the ground at the peak of their services provision.
MFG had an excellent relationship with the LOR Project Control Team and integrated seamlessly with both LOR’s and other sub-contractor teams on site. They made a substantial contribution to the daily planning and scheduling of works on site and were awarded LOR’s “Every Day is Game Day” award for efficiency, safety, quality and environmental standards on two separate occasions.
LOR found the quality of the work undertaken by MFG to be to a very high standard, an example being the approximately 1,000 butt fusion welds completed with zero test failures being recorded.
Having personally witnessed the professional manner in which MFG conducted themselves over a number of sites at the APLNG project, in particular the Combabula site, I would have no hesitation in using them again on a future project or recommending them to undertake work of a similar nature on any other project for any other party."
Conor Hanlon (LOR Project Leader – APLNG Combabula)
Boggabri/Maules Creek Railway Connections for Whitehaven Coal (Client: Leighton Contractors):
“It is encouraging to see the attention to detail by the MFG team in the setup of the site and that the works being undertaken have been well planned and executed. From my observations, relevant PPE for the tasks undertaken are being worn and equipment and plant is always maintained and operated correctly.
It is always positive to see the MFG team when they are at any stage of works as their attitude toward safety is second to none.”
Shaine Sayed (Civil Supervisor)
Gateway Project (Client: Leighton Contractors):
“I have been associated with Ron McFadyen for more than 12 years and have worked with Ron and his team on a number of large infrastructure projects around the Brisbane metropolitan area. McFadyen Pipeline Construction commenced a large Stormwater Drainage contract as part of the Gateway Upgrade Project in Brisbane. Ron and his company also completed a range of Stormwater, Sewer Diversion and Water Diversion works, working day and night, usually under difficult working conditions, to meet tight project deadlines. McFadyen was able to provide good quality machinery and equipment and a reliable and skilled workforce who professionally and safely went about their work. Ron and his teams commitment to the project was commendable and his contribution to what was a challenging and demanding undertaking is worthy of praise and recognition. I look forward to working with Ron and his team again.”

“We would like to sincerely thank you for the effort and contribution you and your team have made to the project. We could not have set out to deliver on the promises made to the Roads and Maritime Services, particularly in the areas of quality, safety, traffic and environment, without your support and collaboration. We appreciate the difference you have made and wish you all the best in the future.”

“I have always found Ron McFadyen and his staff to be helpful and reliable, they employ safe work practises and we have never had any unresolved disputes or had any work not finish within the contract periods. I have no hesitation in recommending them for any drainage, water main or plant hire requirements you may have.”
