+Pipeline Construction - Associated Welding
MFG have a number of experienced HDPE welding staff, with testing necessary prior to commencing any new projects, such as recently required for Laing O’Rourke at Contabri North and Ostwalds at Eurombah Creek, both of which are Gas Processing Facilities (GPF’s) located near Roma.
MFG have already undertaken successful butt fusion and electro fusion welds at completed projects for Leighton’s (Waste Water Treatment Facility) and Laing O’Rourke (GPF) at Reedy Creek. To date all such welding has met Origin’s very strict compliance standards with nil failures, with data logger & in-house developed “App” for on-site welder data entry using a tablet.
MFG have completed welding SWMS and Testing Procedures for application to any project such as:
- Butt fusion welding of HDPE pipes for McElroy machines (both 250 & 500);
- Electrofusion welding of HDPE pipes;
- SWMS for butt fusion welding using T250’s or T500’s or T900’s, as well as for Electrofusion welding.
MFG have NATA accreditation for Hydrostatic Testing, Pneumatic Testing and Vacuum Testing of HDPE and other flexible pipelines including hoses, valves and fittings under section 13.64 and 13.65 to comply with ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
